Changing your region in eAYSO
So you are new to http://eAYSO.org/ and now realize (or were told) you selected the wrong region or need to change your region for some reason. Well, help is on the way.
First, you need to log back in and find your record (see screen shot below):
If you did not create a login before, then create a login ID now and match it to your pre-reg volunteer record (red
arrow).
Or use the forgot password (yellow arrow) button if you need a reminder of your login.
Otherwise, once you have your login, login normally (green
arrow).

Note your login ID is usually the email address you entered into the system the first time when you created a login ID. But the may not always be so. Either by accident or design, you may have a different name and email address for your login then entered in the volunteer record. This is because the system allows more than one volunteer form to be associated with a single login. That way a single household with multiple volunteers can be setup by one parent. Also it allows a non-volunteering parent to setup a volunteer form for the spouse and/or children. In this case, the login name and email is unique and different from any of the associated volunteer forms.
Once you log back in, IF you are a registered, enabled volunteer, then the screen after login will look like the one below. If so, click on the MyeAYSO menu button (first on the left):

Otherwise,
if you are still in a pre-registered state or your login never enabled, then your screen will
look like the MyeAYSO screen anyway. So continue below as you will never see the screen above :)
Click the “Volunteer” button to get to your volunteer record:

Now
click on your volunteer record (via your name or your household family members name) that should appear in
the list as shown:

Now
you are presented with the region you currently have set. You can now either:
a) just click “Next” to keep the region as it is, or
b)
click the
region desired and then click "Next" to select a previously used
region from the list presented, or
c)
select the Search option to find a new region by entering a Zip code and/or state-city and then hitting "Next":

Note
it is usually easier to find a region by using the regions home city /
state or zip code than to use your own zip code. Regions and
zip codes overlap greatly and not all regions
have entered all their associated zip codes. So try and determine the likely best zip code associated with the region (their mailing address maybe) and enter that here.
You can now either hit the “Home” or “Logout” button at the upper right when your volunteer form appears or edit your volunteer form information to correct an error or finish filling it in. In either case, your region should now be reset.
