All data collected and maintained by the region (including all rosters and respective family information) is restricted for use in conducting AYSO Business. Any other use is strictly prohibited. Data collected includes, but is not limited too, that contained in the Web Youth Soccer and eAYSO databases and the Board of Parents file repository on the main server. It also includes all registration forms, volunteer forms, and related information. See the eAYSO Privacy Policy and AYSO National Privacy Policy for additional information. Under no circumstances can the data be used for any scouting, recruiting, or contact of the player or volunteer families other than that directly needed and approved for AYSO Business Use by AYSO National, the local Regional Commissioner, or the local board of parents.
Access to the database of players, families, team rosters and other information about the regions operation is granted only to registered volunteers (generally, parents of players). Volunteers with access to information beyond their own child's data are required to be currently registered. Currently registered means to (a) have submitted an accepted volunteer form in the current year of operation, (b) be Safe Haven or BASIC certified, (c) be properly trained, and (d) be acting within that training. Anyone obtaining access to the system and its content not authorized by the above is doing so illegally and is in violation of AYSO rules, regulations and policies. Volunteers obtaining access to data beyond that dealing with their own child must follow the Privacy and Safe Haven Policies set forther in the above referenced documents and training.
